Universal Life
What is Universal Life Insurance?
Universal life insurance is a type of life insurance that offers more flexibility than whole life insurance.
It allows the policyholder to adjust the premium and death benefit amounts over time. It also has a savings component that accumulates cash value over time.
We Offer Two Types of Universal Life Insurance:
Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL)
Guaranteed universal life insurance provides coverage for the entire life of the insured person.
It has a guaranteed minimum death benefit and premium.
Premiums are typically lower than whole life insurance, but higher than term life insurance.
The policy also accumulates cash value over time at a standard rate.
Indexed Universal Life (IUL)
Indexed universal life insurance offers more flexibility than traditional universal life insurance.
It allows the policyholder to adjust the premium and death benefit amounts over time.
The policy accumulates cash value over time. The cash value is tied to a stock market index, meaning it has the potential to earn higher returns than traditional universal life insurance.
