Medicare Supplement
What is a Medicare Supplement?
A Medicare Supplement plan is an additional health plan that helps cover your out-of-pocket exposure with just Original Medicare (Parts A, B, & D). These plans are offered through private insurance companies but are federally regulated. No matter what company is offering the plan, it must be the same benefits required by the federal government. These plans do not use doctor networks.
Who Qualifies?
Anyone age 65 and older with Medicare Part A and Part B.
These plans are the exact same no matter where you live and you can see any doctor that accepts Medicare.
You have a 6-month guarantee-issue window to sign up upon turning 65. No health underwriting, no questions asked.
How Do I Know Which Plan to Pick?
For anyone turning 65, there are 9 different Medicare Supplement plans available. Depending on your budget and health needs, we will help you determine which plan is right for you.
Only those who turned 65 before January 1st of 2020 are eligible for Plan F.
As experts in the industry, we know the plans front and back. We have the knowledge and expertise to guide you to the right option.
How Much Does it Cost?
Individuals turning 65 can expect to pay under $100 for even the most comprehensive plan available.
Premiums will vary depending on the plan type, your age, and what company is offering the plan.
We have the ability to shop the market and offer the lowest available rate for the plan of your choice.
What Else Should I Know?
These plans are only designed to offer coverage for medical expenses.
You need to have a seperate, stand-alone Prescription Drug plan along with your supplement to cover your medications. This is also needed in order to avoid the Part-D penalty.
What About Dental, Vison, & Hearing?
If you want coverage for dental, vision, and hearing, you must get a seperate plan.
There are a number of stand-alone dental, vision, and hearing plans available that we can discuss.
You Might Qualify for a Rate Reduction!
